Busby Centre - Drop In Services

Staff available to assist with:

  • bag lunch or emergency grocery bag - provided between 12pm-1pm
  • Hot Meal at dinner time - Daily 5pm-6pm
  • Case Management Support
  • hygiene supplies and seasonal clothing
  • Harm Reduction supplies
  • access to short-term warming space, free showers, and washroom
  • Health Cards and other paperwork
  • transportation needs - local and out of town for health care needs and viewing housing
  • referral to other programs and community resources
  • an access point to facilitate medical, corrections and other support appointments virtually
  • HEPCURE free testing
  • Simcoe County Paramedic Service - Para-Medicine Program (Monthly)
  • Monthly Haircuts with "Haircuts for the Homeless" - Third Monday every month 1pm-4pm
  • CMHA Community Withdrawal Management - Fridays 9am-12pm
  • Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit - Sexual Health Nurse Drop-In - Thursdays 10am-1pm
  • Weekly Foot Care Nurse -Wednesdays 9am-12pm
  • Empower Simcoe - Housing Access Worker - Mondays & Wednesdays 9am-12pm
  • Ontario Works & Ontario Disability Support Program Drop-in - Thursdays 9am-12pm

Donations

  • Donations of breakfast and lunch items for shelter guests as well as donations of survival gear, toiletries and cleaning supplies are needed
  • if you have donations, do not go to 88 Mulcaster without first calling 705-828-3477 or emailing getconnected@busbycentre.ca
