Redwood Park Communities - Housing Programs
Affordable housing provider whose mission is to provide safe, affordable, hopeful housing where people thrive in supportive community. Housing initiatives include:
- United House - Supportive housing for women and their children coming through the Women's & Children's Shelter of Barrie
- Jubilee House - Supportive housing for women and their children in Orillia, coming through Coordinated Access
- Lucy's Place - A Housing First community for people who have experienced chronic homelessness in partnership with the Busby Centre, coming through Coordinated Access
- Ayub's House - Affordable supportive housing for men in trades and trades training programs
- Lillian Place - Redwood Park Communities, in partnership with The Salvation Army, is building a Family Short-Term Supportive Housing Centre. The capital campaign is ongoing. See our website for details
The Community Support Team connects people with local support services and agencies and provides side-by-side support.
Application
- Referral by Coordinated Access or the listed community agencies only
- Redwood cannot currently provide case management support for people not residing in their units, and cannot take direct intakes
- All intakes are by referral
Eligibility
- United House: referred by Women and Children's Shelter of Barrie
- Lucy's Place, Jubilee House: housing offers made through Coordinated Access only to those on the central wait-list
- Ayub's House: referred by Windermere House and Community Builders
