Eligibility
Employable youth ages 16-17 year(s) and up who cannot live at home but are attending school or seeking employment. Financial need is determined by a review of income, liquid assets and living expenses.
Youth and Adults 18 - 65 years who are not caring for pre-school age children or who do not have a serious disability or illness must participate in employment assistance activities and meet financial criteria.
Each member of the household must meet at least one of the following criteria: member is a Canadian Citizen, member has made an application for status as a permanent resident under the immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada), or member has made a claim for refugee protection under the immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada), member is able to live independently and make own arrangements for supportive services.
