Kenora Fellowship Centre - Indigenous Outreach Ministry
- Operates a daily drop-in program
- Serves 2 meals daily: breakfast and lunch, and coffee corner
- Provides a place of fellowship and gathering
- Acts as a contact centre, offering a place of contact for emergencies
- Offers a transitional housing program (5 beds)
Also provides the following supports and services:
- Healing and wellness initiatives including arts and crafts
- Reconciliation events
- Spiritual support
- Clothing program
- Public bathrooms and toiletries
- Referrals to other services
- Mail services, fax, email, Wi-Fi as needed
- Public telephone and message board
Application
Transitional housing is provided for individuals on a short-term (3 months) basis; support plan developed to access further supports and services / eligible for Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program
Eligibility
Welcomes individuals who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, displaced and underhoused, and the general community aged 18 years and older, regardless of race or gender
