Kingston Community Health Centres - Consumption and Treatment Services

Health hub

  • provides 23/7 low-barrier and wrap-around services, including consumption and treatment services, drop-in services, and temporarily overnight shelter (Rest Zone)

Consumption and Treatment Services (CTS)

  • supervised consumption services including overdose response
  • naloxone kits and training
  • harm reduction education and supplies, including safer injection kits (needle/syringe program), safer sex kits, biohazards disposal bins, safer inhalation equipment
  • access to Opioid Antagonist Therapy
  • shuttle service
  • primary care services
  • referrals to community services, including but not limited to primary care, substance use treatment services, health and social services
  • first aid and wound care via the on-site paramedic

Access & Support Centre

  • access basic-need services such as washrooms, showers, meals, beverages, and storage for belongings
  • meet with case managers, request access to additional supports, and make community connections

Rest Zone

  • provides a safe and comfortable space for up to 28 individuals to rest and sleep
  • spaces are available daily on a first come, first served basis

Anyone over the age of 16, individuals with immediate needs such as

  • safety, food, rest

  • longer-term needs such as substance use and mental health
