KEYS Employment and Newcomer Services - Opportunities Fund Program

Program that assists persons with disabilities to prepare for, obtain and keep employment. Job search support, including job development:

  • provides individualized support and ongoing mentoring/coaching
  • provides job search support, pre-employability services, wage subsides and work placements
  • provides financial assistance for work attire and work equipment
  • connects participants with employers and get paid work experience
  • work placements can be used to help participants in entering the labour market

    Eligibility

    Available to individuals
  • self identifying as having a permanent disability,
  • not currently working more than 15 hours per week or attending school/post secondary training
  • ready and willing to participate in job search activities
  • legally entitled to work in Canada
  • can commit to working 25+ hours per week (exceptions can be made on hours worked)
  • Languages
