Rural Frontenac Community Services - Ontario Disability Support Program
Outreach location for the delivery of the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).
Provides financial and employment supports for persons with disabilities. Financial supports include income to support
- basic needs
- shelter costs
- drug and dental benefits
- medical supplies and further benefits
Employment Supports offers community-based employment services to obtain, and maintain competitive employment. Services can include:
- employment planning
- job search supports
- job retention services
ODSP recipients can be employed and remain on ODSP; income changes would apply.
Application
To apply for ODSP, call or visit ontario.ca/socialassistance
Applicants of income support must provide documentation of disability to the Disability Adjudication Unit, to determine if the application is eligible based on the 'limitations to daily living' criteria * financial eligibility is also reviewed on a regular basis
Applicants of employment support must provide some documentation to the ODSP Caseworker and verification of financial eligibility * applicants to Employment Supports do not have to be receiving Income Supports to be eligible

Ontario residents 18 years and older with a disability that is expected to last a year or more and meet the existing criteria for income and/or employment support.
