Employment support services for French-speaking newcomers to Canada. Provides communication tools to facilitate job search


Orientation and support:

  • support for professional orientation
  • technical and cultural advice on adapting to the job market
  • support with CV adaptation
  • support in writing cover letters
  • job interview preparation
  • continuous support until employment is found
  • individual consultations

Workshops

  • in addition to individual consultations
  • conversation groups to practice official languages
  • supplementary advice in the event of adjustment difficulties in employment

This program is offered under the ESCOC's Settlement Program.

Eligibility

Francophone newcomers, including immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Those not eligible for the IRCC-funded program, such as temporary workers, international students and Canadian citizens, will be served through provincial funding from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
