Options Housing Incorporated - Options Housing
Provides housing and supports people who are experiencing homelessness
- 128 geared-to-rent units in four buildings with primarily bachelor units and some 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments,
- on-site supports for tenants, including:
Resource centres
- 8 locations in Ottawa Community Housing Buildings offering supports to Ottawa Community Housing clients
Housing First
- team of housing based case managers help individuals leave chronic homelessness to find housing and provide mobile supports to ensure housing stability
Hoarding Assistance Team (HAT)
- provides intensive case management supports to people living in supportive housing and community housing settings who are at risk of losing their housing due to hoarding behaviours
- offers Buried in Treasures workshops, a peer-led program aiming to address and reduce hoarding behaviour for participants
Application
Applicants must apply through the Ottawa Social Housing Registry and undergo an assessment with Options Housing
Eligibility
Men and women 18 years of age or older who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness and require support to maintain their housing and well-being
