Huron Perth Public Health works in partnership with the community to foster conditions in which people can be healthy and promote health, protect health, and prevent disease by providing community health services and programs for Huron and Perth Counties.

Services include:
  • health promotion and well being
  • pregnancy support
  • sexual health clinics
  • substance use and harm reduction
  • immunization
  • communicable disease investigations and outbreak control
  • food safety inspections
  • rabies investigations
  • safe drinking water measures
N95 respirators available to residents who are at high risk for respiratory problems when wildfire smoke results in poor air quality. Those at greatest risk of experiencing negative health effects from poor air quality are people with lung disease (such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) or heart disease, older adults, children, pregnant people, and people who work outdoors.
