Emily Murphy Centre - Second Stage Housing

Transitional Second Stage housing, counselling, support groups, educational classes, practical assistance for Women and children who have experienced violence. Offers 20 rent-geared-to-income housing units for women and their children with a focus on safety. Outreach services. Trauma-informed counselling and training. Donations are accepted during the new office hours only. Please call ahead to be met outside for donating gift.

Supervised Access of Perth and Huron for the safe and monitored visits and exchanges of children between Custodial and non custodial parents and caregivers. 519-508-6101

The Caring Dads Program - Intensive 17 week program for men who are at risk of abusibe behaviours towards children. Run 2 x per year.

Application

Referrals from shelters and other social service agencies, self referrals accepted. Or contact City of Stratford, Social Housing Division, 82 Erie St, Stratford 519-271-3773 Ext 272. Attendees to groups are not required to be in residence.

Eligibility

Women 18 years and older, and their children (male children birth-15 years), who have experienced violence and abuse.

Service ; Rent geared to income for residential, free service for groups and assistance. Sliding scale for SAP programs
