Monthly benefit payment to help eligible households pay their rent. Benefit payments are:
- portable, so benefit may be received after moving to another address
- based on household income and local market rent values
Application
Eligible households must be either:
- on, or eligible to be on, the social housing waiting list, or
- living in social housing
Eligibility
- Individuals or families experiencing or at risk of homelessness
- survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking
- Indigenous people
- seniors
- individuals with disabilities
