Provides free and confidential legal information, advice and representation to vulnerable and/or low income residents. Lawyers and community legal workers provide assistance related to:
  • Ontario Works (welfare)
  • Employment Insurance and employment standards (employees only)
  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
  • Canada Pension Plan
  • Residential Tenancies Act (tenants only)
  • Consumer Protection
  • Human Rights Code and the Charter
Does not assist with family law, criminal law, provincial offences, motor vehicle accidents, business law, estate law or bankruptcy. Will refer inquiries to the appropriate services.

Staff are also available to provide presentations and workshops in the areas listed above
