YMCA of Southwestern Ontario - Language Skills Program

English as a second language program for adult newcomers who are permanent residents and convention refugees. LSP teaches listening, speaking, reading and writing based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks.
  • Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) - offered to parents enrolled in the program

Application

  • Language assessment: at the Language Assessment and Resource Centre.
  • Registration process required.

  • Permanent residents, and convention refugees.
  • Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) program:children 7 mos to 6 yrs for parents attending English classes
    Age Requirements: Ages: 18 year(s) and up
