Windsor Women Working With Immigrant Women - Settlement Services - Information and Orientation
- Needs assessment and referral services where clients are provided with settlement plans or referred to the appropriate services or workshops and information sessions
- Provide one-on-one counselling with experienced Settlement workers in multiple languages to enable newcomers to navigate the community independently
- Information sessions are also held on community resources such as tenancy rights, banking, navigating health systems, counselling, mental health services and more
- Childcare available to clients
- Additional services include:
- application/renewal of relevant documents
- preparation for the Canadian Citizenship Test
- preparation for the G1 Drivers Test
- housing and transportation workshops
- computer training
- referrals to relevant services
- and more (call for details)
